Cheers to Charity
how you make a difference
The McKenzie Cider and Craft Brew Festival has been donating its proceeds to charity since it began back in 2012. Every year, we choose different charities and projects to benefit from our event - and our spirit of giving and philanthropic nature aren’t going to dry up any time soon. The list of charities we’ve donated to includes Gateways High School, The Willamalane Foundation, Belly-Full, and Bags of Love. Every year this event grows bigger and bigger, giving us the opportunity to make a bigger impact in our community. Having a fun and entertaining way to give back is what this event was founded on. So, cheers to many more years of raising money for charity!
Each year, festival attendees get the opportunity to meet the makers of some of their favorite brews and ciders. Of the 75+ brewers that attend every year, the festival has seen most of them come out to pour their product from their own booths. This gives our attendees the unique experience of having a face-to-face conversation with the craftsman of their long-standing, or new-found, favorite drinks.
Unlike most brew festivals, we’re encouraging you to bring the entire family. During our family-friendly hours, we’ll have entertainment that’s appropriate for all ages and provide an atmosphere that’s enjoyable for every member of the family. There will be face painting, balloons, and even an interactive puppet show.
