November 5th 12:00 – 11:00pm
with children welcome from noon - 5pm
at the Willamalane Center, 250 So. 32nd Street in Springfield
This craft beer festival is the premier brew fest in Lane County. Join us for live music, great food and more than seventy five craft brewers of cider and beer.
Cost: $15.00 on site, $12.00 through October 31 at mccbf.eventbrite.com.
Proceeds will support The Willamalane Foundation, the nonprofit advocacy organization formed in 1983 that supports the activities and facilities of Willamalane Park and Recreation District that works separately but in partnership with Willamalane.
Proceeds will also support the construction of a tiny house by students at Gateways High School. The house will be placed at the G-Street Oasis, a project of Catholic Community Services in Springfield for families in transition out of homelessness.
(sample only; students will design their home as part of the project)
Rotary supports the youth in our community through a variety of projects. Past Rotary projects include, but are not limited to, mentorships at Springfield High School (Strive); Camp Ryla, a one-week summer camp that develops leadership capabilities in high school students, and The Gift of Literacy which provides all Springfield 1st graders with a trip to Lane Community College and their own hard-back book.
What would it take to change the world? Rotary's 1.2 million members believe it starts with a commitment to Service Above Self.
